Dr. Yeisly Canino

Hi! I’m Dr. Yeisly Canino, and I’m proud to be part of the team at Doral Veterinary Care. I earned my Bachelor’s in Animal Sciences at the University of Florida and completed my DVM at St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine, finishing my final clinical year back at UF. I have a deep passion for small animal medicine and a strong focus on preventative care, with a goal of helping pets live longer, healthier lives.

I believe that caring for animals means caring for the people who love them, too. My goal is to build trust through compassion, clear communication, and thoughtful medicine. Every pet is part of someone’s family, and I take that to heart in the way I approach treatment and care.

Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, connecting with different cultures and perspectives, and spending time with friends, family, and my 18-year-old Quaker parrot.
